What does art in CinemArena look like?
Art as a form of expression
We believe that art, as a powerful form of expression, gives people a voice and makes them feel heard and included. It provides a space for creativity and self-discovery. In CinemArena, art holds a special place in our mission. During our events, we feature local and international artists from theater, music, dance, and more, offering people the opportunity to express themselves. This not only gives them visibility but also transforms art into a tool for societal change.
Art as a medium of appropriation
Artistic performances gave tunisian youth the chance to participate, engage, and feel fully integrated into the Caravan as active contributors. We believe that youth who can freely express themselves are empowered to drive positive change. The valuable contribution of ArteStudio, a renowned arts association based in Rome, greatly enhanced the Caravan experience by fostering youth engagement and integrating artists into meaningful artistic exploration.
Art as a tool for raising awareness
The artistic performances are highly appreciated by participants, as they bring energy and engagement to the screenings. Through art, we address the critical issue of irregular migration in a way that resonates emotionally with audiences, making it a compelling tool for awareness and reflection.
